Please send some congrats!!!!!

Today it Dec 8th......It is hard to believe but it has been a whole year since my surgery! I have done pretty well.......131lbs in a year, but I still struggle a lot.....I have not been good at making some of the some of the commitments I need to....exercise! And I tend to eat a lot of the wrong foods too! I am so thankful for everyone on this site, the support is amazing......I am thankful that my life is 100 times healthier and more active......I cannot even begin to describe all the amazing changes!!! But I don't think I would have done so well or even had the strenght to go thru it all with out all my new friends......SO THANK ALL OF YOU!!!! NOW~ Today is also one of my dear friends anniversary too! Andrea and I had our surgeries togther last year at different hospitals.....For me she has been my absolute biggest supporter through it all!!! I have made an awesome friend for life.....I only have brothers, but if I had a sister I would want her to be Andrea So please join me all in wishing her a happy anniversary......She has made such amazing progress.....Take a look at her before and after pics......even today she looks amazing, I wish she had a new pic up.......she is TINY!!! Plus her commitments alone amaze me......she works full time....has three kids is very active and church and still manages to run her houehold and make it to the gym like 4 times a week!!! She is truly my inspiration......She is just awesome and her vitality and commimtment amaze me!!! So help me wish her the best on her anniversary and even more to come in the next year of this amazing journey!!!! BIG HUGE to you Andrea!!!! Love~jesi

I think that God is awesome to connect us together through this site and to allow us to form such a wonderful friendship - sisterhood, if you will. We've been able to support each other through this journey and through life in general. It's so nice to have a best friend! About my committments, yours are where they need to be. Your focus on life is on your hubby and three little girls. You are such a wonderful mother. I could never do what you do and be home all of the time with the kids and hubby. I would eat my life away. Your love for your family is so apparent that you barely take time for yourself. Now, if we're talking tiny, look at Jesi's pics and know that she is smaller than those posted. Girl, I won't ever see the sizes that you are in! Congrats Jesi You've come along way baby! Both of you gals are a wonderful inspiration to the board. I'm so happy we've been able to meet & can't wait to meet up with all of you again next summer! Hey wonder what total weight loss will be with all of us again? Well over 2000 pounds this time. Oh BTW when we have our get together in Des Moines we will have a professional photographer there also! The photographer from the DM Register said she would love to join us & take pics for us!!! Is that cool or what? Maybe I can invite my reporter as well? Shall we have a vote? I think it would be neat to have both of them join us as a follow up story! Carolyn

Boy, am I glad I decided to check the Iowa board today!!! A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to both of you!!! You both deserve it very much. I can't agree with you more, Jesi about the amount of support here. It is so hard at times to do what we know is right and when we don't, we know we can come here and get the support and understanding we need to get back on track.
