Meetings

I am also going to be finishing my training, and will be having a Saturday meeting 2X a month for those who cannot make it to night meetings. Being one of those who works the night shift, I know FULLY how frustrating it is to not be able to go to any kind of support!! MOST people are able to make it to at least one Sat a month. I thought it might have been a good idea for Lynda and I to work together since we both have very different experiences with the surgery, but obviously that is not going to be feasible. The Carroll area is certainly big enough for more than one group, I guess. I will also be hitting surrounding towns to encourage those with no support at all to get involved. I encourage ANYONE to come to the Saturday meetings, and will get a schedule posted shortly after the new year! Tracie

I would love to know what your schedule will be. My schedule is very hectic and I really like the idea of some flexibility for when I can fit in a meeting. Thanks for agreeing to be a facilitator. It can be time consuming and frustrating but also has rewards. Thanks so much! Misty S.

Tracie, If you looked at your last post i offered to do the meetings with you. I do underdstand people do work at nite and cant come at nite they need a different day. so what i was going to do at the meeting that is schedule for the 2nd tuesday was ask people what days would work and what hrs would work best for them. People to also have families they have to consider when making plans for meetings. I do think some people would like a choice of which meeting they can pick. I was trying to get ahold of you to see about doing one on Saturdays cuz i know you work nites. i think it is great having them twice a month on a saturdays but i also feel that some people cant come during that time so i was still going to run one at nite during the week. lynda
