11/22 ROLL CALL, goals, support, etc.
Good morning, everyone. How was your week last week and your weekend? I did well getting on the computer more last week, but still am struggling with the grazing behaviors. Not as badly - trying to focus on fluids more in the evenings helps. Jesi also gave me some sunflower seeds in the shell to help. The weekend was stressful with a little girls' (7 of them, to be exact) slumber party Friday night, parade Saturday morning, nephew's concert in Illinois Saturday afternoon, church and then family birthday party for my daughter yesterday. Then cleaning until 11:00 p.m. Oh well, not really trying to have a pitty party, just telling you I am TIRED!!! You know me, I tend to eat when fatigued! Goals are:
1) Control the grazing - brush teeth and get in fluids to help.
2) Gym 5 times at least.
3) Control the grazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What are your goals for the week? Question of the day - What are your Thanksgiving plans? What will be hard or tempting for you and how do you plan on handling those temptations? I will be drinking LOTS of fluids and may have to take a toothbrush with me.
Have a great week,
God bless,
Andrea
Good early morning sweetie.......Glad to hear all went well this weekend, you have got to be tired tho!!!! Brushing really helps me too, or a big strong mint......cause nothing taste good with the mint flavor in your mouth.....Lifesavers makes a sugar free wintergreen or spearmint.....Like 1.20 a bag ...and you get lots of them, they are strong and good, they are the ones I gave you Wednesday night!!! Maybe carry some of those with you too!!! I am glad the seeds helped too! I am off shortly for my first day at work.....Madi was so pumped to go to school this morning....she was running around in panties and a backpack!!!
It was cute! My goals are simple, do good with eating and drinking, try to exercise....but mainly not stuff myself like the bird on Thanksgiving!!!! And stay warm, it is getting chilly!!!! Have a great week everyone!!!!
Jesi

Good morning Girls!!!! Well unlike you girls, I'm still pre-op soooo I'm going to enjoy thanksginving, but I will use portion control!!
Today I'm going to work on my 3rd floor (4 bedrooms & 3 full bathrooms) change all the bedding...and then I want to get atleast one tree up today. Wish me luck!!!
I normally put 3 trees up, but this year, I'm only doing 2. Actually I only did 2 last yr also, I didn't have the energy to do all three, actually the hardest part is taking it down and putting it all away. I swear last year I almost put it off so long that I wouldn't have had to put them up this year because they would still be up!
This is the first I have heard about the toothbrush thing...but that is so true when you have that minty flavor in your mouth you don't feel like putting something in your mouth so readily.
One week from today and I will be joining you on the loseing side WOOHOO!!!!!
To lighter days ahead!!!

Morning all
Sunflower seeds are my lifesavers
my dad says they are junk food & I argue back no they aren't! Has really helped me cut back on smoking so they are good for something
My goals this week are pretty simple, keep pushing tha****er although I've been drinking alot of herbal tea, tis the season! AND get into the 180's I'm so close now bouncing between 190-192.
Going to be a quiet Thanksgiving for me. We celebrated our family Thanksgiving the 1st of the month. Dad is going to a friend's, Katie is going to her dad's, the kids are off to the out-laws so I'm up for adoption!
It was actually easier than I thought it would be not pigging out. I don't use a dinner plate anymore, instead I use a small (saucer like) plate. Can't put to much on those now can you?! A dab of this & dab of that & your plate is full, actually to full! I had pies baked with Splenda so was able to enjoy a few bites of pie as well.
Hope everyone has a good week.
Carolyn

Hello
Well, I did do some extra walking, but need to do more I think.
For Thanksgiving, I was supposed to go to Colorado, but now we can't, since my brother has to work on Wednesday and probably on Friday. So, it's just going to be my Mom, Dad, and me for Thanksgiving. I love my Mom's dressing, I won't be eating pie though. It's going to be a quiet Thanksgiving. A lot different from last year.
Goals for this week:
1> Walk some more
2> Sleep
3> drink more water - haven't been because I would drink a little then gag.
Have a great and safe Thanksgiving!
Love
Lisa Young

Happy Thanksgiving Andrea!
Late again posting on roll call, I am lucky to get free time to do anything anymore, although with the kids off all WEEK!!!! I've been working more. Remember when I was a kid we only got 2 days off for turkey day now they get a whole week, which has really messed with my workouts. Just not as easy to get to the gym so I do my elipticle and gazelle here but just not as motivated. But it's nice being home to get things done around the house that has to usually wait for the weekend and also spend time with my boys, although all they want are video games and t.v. Like torture to make them walk the dogs HA HA
Goals: Not graze with all the cooking that needs to be done.
Drink more water, although I still hate it I've been mixing the cranberry juice and water to get more down plus keep the kidneys flushed.
Exercise.
Above all just be thankful for my family that we are all healthy and can be together this weekend.
God Bless and happy holiday!
