Silent Sunday?

Good evening to all - I am usually a "lurker" on this board, but I enjoy reading the message from other local people who are on this same path. Since I am getting ever closer to actually turning this dream into a reality, I've come out of lurking mode to say hello. I was shocked to receive a phone call from my sleep center doc today (on a Sunday?!?!). He had received a letter from the surgeon asking for his final opinion as to my "fitness for surgery" and has asked me to pay him a visit. I will also be getting a "smart card" for my CPAP machine so he can get some official data from that. I've been on CPAP for about 2 years now (I love this thing!), but they've never taken any official readings about my usage. I have completed all the initial hoop-jumping for the surgery program and I am now waiting for approval from insurance. I have BC/BS Alliance Select - I hope I have the same smooth experience that others have had. I wish you all a fabulous week!
