What are you eating today?
Hi everyone!
What is everyone eating today? Or what is a typical day? I eat alot of cottage cheese & yogurt & cheese, so far haven't burned out on those foods yet. Last night had few bites of pork chop, small dab of mashed taters & green beans (more meat & beans than taters). I dump on instant mashed taters so was a little spooked about trying real ones...oops they tasted yummy but just had a bite of them. Tonight we are having beef roast & carrots will leave taters alone.
My dad has moved in with me for the next month then he will head south. He can't believe the amount of food (should say lack of amount!) I eat & am full! Saturday will be interesting we are having our Thanksgiving then, only time all of us could get together. We aren't big turkey eaters so son's significant other has decided on pork loin for meat. Our pies are made with splenda, taking the lazy way out there is a friend that bakes pies for only $5.75 per pie! I can't hardly fire up the oven for that.
My daughter in law has decided to take some time off, she quit her job so that means no babysitting til she decides to go back to work, am looking forward to some quiet time & catch up time around here.
Walking still bothers me am seriously thinking about checking into hip replacement, not sure if that would hel*****t. I want to be able to walk with no pain. Living in the boonies as I do I would have to drive 60 miles round trip for Curves or any Wellness Center, I simply can't afford to do that. I can walk at the school now that the weather will be turning nasty so that is a help.
Ok now you've heard the life & times of me! Way OT!!! But I really would like to find out what everyone is eating maybe I can shake this plateau I keep getting on! The inches aren't even moving. Have been size 18 for a couple of months now & the scale just doesn't want to move, it bounces me around 2 to 3 pounds up that amount then back down to 195. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. BTW am drinking 80 to 100 oz water daily so that's not a problem.
Love ya
Carolyn

Hiya Carolyn....sry to say but your just like me! Seems like I saw every pound come off, than would see it bounce back up, but I think when you get past the 190 mark you'll see a big difference!!! Your eating everything that is good for you and drinking alot more water now and that is a good thing! So hang in there gf...it'll come!
As for my eating....I eat everything, not alot but I do eat everything!!! One thing I love about this time of the yr. is the soup, I can eat it all day long! I tell ya what though I have been sooooooooooooooooo cold, don't know how Iam gonna survive the winter!!!
BTW Galva0-Holstein won their first playoff game last night 56-0, AWESOME eh!!!!
Talk to ya soon,

Hello Carolyn
I have no idea what I'm eating today my downfall lately I been snacking to much I think its because of all my stress I been under. my scale has been moving up and down for the last 3 months i cant get out of my 180s it stinks I started doing the weigh****cher points so I hope that helps. I joined a gym because of the cold weather I hate walking when its cold. well have a good weekend and take care

Hi all!
Right now I'm sitting at my desk at work having a little bit of meatloaf and some broccoli. I'm still amazed at the small amounts of food I can eat and feel full! I had my surgery on 9/13 and am down 65lbs. I started at 377 so I have alot to go, but...I'm already off all my blood pressure meds! Yippee!! And if I never lost another pound I'd be happy because I can now stand and walk without my feet, knees and lower back being in agony after a few minutes.
Typically I'm big on the whole cottage cheese, yogurt, soft cheeses thing. I also find I'm eating alot of tuna. I put some of this Smart Balance mayo on it and put it on a low fat, salt free cracker. And I'm addicted to fish of any sort because in the microwave (my favorite cooking utensil LOL!) if you don't overcook it, it's nice and moist. I can eat green beans and salads just fine, but have found that scrambled eggs, bananas and overcooked chicken just don't work well at all. I haven't dumped but I have had those items come right back up. Strange to me because I ate a low-fat taco dip that was spicy spicy the other day with baked chips and it was just fine. Amazing...
I still have cravings for big old sandwiches, salty potato chips and PEPSI! But I feel so good it makes it easier to push those things out of my mind!
Take care everyone!~

I think I am eating more than I should be. I know my servings are more than a 1/4 cup. I eat most anything. I have lost 42 pounds since aug 16 but I don't feel as if I am loosing as fast as others. I joined an exercise class and go every day. Hope that will help me loose faster. I also crave the chips and diet coke. I can not wait till the 6 months are up so I can have a diet coke again. I do drink flat diet rootbeer. Better than nothing. I only eat 3 meals a day. How about everybody else? I feel great though. Good luck on your weight loss.
Blessings
Cheryl
