Date is set!!!

CONGRATS!!!!! I'm so happy for you, not only do you have a date but you get to go somewhere only most of us dream to go!! Please let us know how it was!! Can't wait to be able to post my own DATE IS SET!!! I will be jumping up and down like a crazy person!!! Hi Tracie, your thoughts and prayers are appreciated big time...everything is happening so fast. I am still feeling the effects of "You're Approved" and everything just kind of spiraled from there. The support and advice from this board is truly overwelming. I am blessed.... I look forward to seeing your post with a set date and we will be on the loosing side together. WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO Congrats on your date! Should be no reason why you shouldn't be feeling good at 6 weeks after so you will be able to enjoy your trip....but if you need a sub to go here I am! Good luck to you & if you have any questions be sure to let us know. Carolyn

Thanks Carolyn, I don't think I will be needing a sub--My husband and I discussed the timing of everything and he asked if we should even go, I just looked at him completely dumbfounded and said "ARE YOU CRAZY???? OF COURSE WE ARE GOING!!!!" Even if I am not feeling up to par, January in Cancun has got to be 10 times better than January in Iowa, right???? (silly males). Hee Hee Sherri

Congrats!!! You don't have long to wait now!!! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.....for a smooth surgery and super speedy recovery! You should be fine for your vacation too.....You will probably be tired a little, but that new found energy will kick in when you need it~I do have one question tho~can I come with you.....LOL??? Hi Jesi~ I figure tired is OK- I can be tired on the beach while I am sunning myself, LOL. The only issue I think I will have is seeing all the food, the resort is all inclusive and they will have serving buffets everywhere. I told my husband he was going to have to keep me occupied so that I don't even want to think about food. Hee, Hee. No kids, the beach, the ocean, the sun, and post op....now that is a vacation! LOL... Sherri

Congratsssssssssssssssssssssss!!! You'll do great! Hubby and I went to San Diego 2 wks after my hernia surgery in March and I did fine, a lil slow but FINE! Iam having my GB surgery the 15th, so I will be thinking of you on the 16th and waiting to hear from ya the days following ok!! Hugs, Janet S
