Date is set!!!

My date is set for Nov 16. Amazing! My husband and I are scheduled to go to Cancun in Jan. I just hope that I am feeling good enough to enjoy myself, we have been looking forward to this vacation all year. It will give me 6 weeks recovery time, so I am thinkin I should be OK barring any major complications. Dr states that I am low risk so I am going to remain optimistic. At least I know that when I am flying there I shouldn't have a problem buckling my seat belt in the plane. (Don't you just hate struggling with those things)

Congratulations on your surgery date. You sure are a trooper. I hope that when I get to start the waiting game (provided I haven't waited too long and am not a good candidate because of my health) I hope I won"t have to wait that long. I have to wait until January to even have my first consultation because I have to change my health plan here at work for the doctor I have selected. I hope you feel good enough to go on that cruise. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a problem free surgery. Wow 2 weeks from today...

Thank You--I hope you do not have to wait that long either. Life is too short to play these waiting games, seems as though a part of my life was put on hold just waiting to hear something...anything, on status. Just don't let it get to you, keep your chin up and keep trudging along. You owe it to yourself!

Sherri: Congratulations!!!! 2 weeks from today!!!!! I hope things go smoothly for you, and you sail through surgery and recovery, with no complications!!!! Just think about Cancun, and that will help you get through it all!!! I can only speak for myself, but I felt really good by six weeks, so hope you have a wonderful trip!!! Keep us posted!! Thanks DeeAnn-- Everything seems to have gone from one extreme to the other. First everything is running so slow that it is practically driving me crazy and now I am almost numb with everything happening so fast. It is a good numb though- I imagine it is something like you would feel if you won the lottery-and who is to say that I haven't. Either way big changes coming up and I am looking forward to them. I just cannot believe it-- I know that I was suprised at how fast you got a date and so soon and then I turn around and get a date right behind you --go figure. So far I am hearing that I should be feeling good at 6 weeks out so I am breathing a little easier now about the trip to Cancun. Even if I am not feeling up to par it is still better than January in Iowa --right?
