She lives!!! I know I'm still alive cause I hurt like the dickens all over. In addition to all the incisions, drains & feeding tube, my back & neck are out too. grumble whine moan It can only get better from here!! Looking forward to that big reward ... scrambled egg, or maybe sugar free pudding. Ok Ok enough with the negativity, soon I will be able to do all those things my wimpy self has been wanting to do for years & couldn't. I plan to be the healthiest kid on the block! Thank you all for your good wishes pre op. I really needed & appreciated the support.

Welcome to the other side, Nancy, Glad to have you join us. Happy to hear all went well, well since you have a feeding tube, maybe not real well but at least you're home. Take care of yourself & before you know it, you'll be enjoying the pudding (and yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese, etc) Dixie

I had hiatal hernia surgery a few years ago. That had to be taken down before the Roux en Y could be done. Took almost 7 hours. I want to talk to that supervisor who scoffed about the easy way out. I think I'd like a few words with her bony behind.
