Good Morning

Good Morning everyone. i couldnt sleep go figure. Well i am in therapy and dealing with some issues and i do feel better a little. One thing i decided to do and i should of about 2 months ago is go threw my closet and get rid of all my big clothes. I tried on alot of things in my closet. Lets say my closet has lots of room in it. this is my sizes before surgery i am going to say jean sizes was probably 30 or bigger and in jogging pants 3xl's shirts were womans 28/30 or mens 4x and some 5x and bra 48dd. now honestly i didnt ever seem me that big till i saw the pictures. now as of saturday nite i am in 14 jeans womans or guys jeans waist 32 (same size as my son) jogging pants mediums or larges, shirts are any where from mediums to xl depending on my mood of the day and the make of the shirts and now the bra size 36dd. Funny thing is the 32 waist jeans are my son's and he is 11. lucky for me he is tall. he is 5'1". he is going to be a big boy when he gets older. well i should go finish my closet...have a great day.....lynda

Lynda sounds like you are doing WONDERFUL!!! Congrats on your new sizes and the new you! I don't know what you think about Dr. Phil....I love him...anyway he has always said that when losing weight you need to get rid of your bigger clothes a long the way, I honestly believe this! Have you read his book Self Matters? It is a very good book, helps you get deal with some of the issues that you may have, I know it really helped me! Congrats Lynda you were so right when you said to me nobody warned us how expensive this surgery is AFTER surgery with replacing clothes!! But isn't it a wonderful feeling actually being able to walk into a place & FIND clothes instead of hours of searching to find those bigger sizes? Buying REAL sizes instead of plus sizes, I love it!! I keep cleaning out my closet (after trying on clothes) & love being able to put them in the no longer needed pile. I can honestly say I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!!! I even shrunk a shoe size, thankfully Katie can wear those. The boobs are shrinking also! Love it getting rid of THAT extra weight. Keep up the good work Hugs Carolyn
