Being a Good Samaritain while losing weight

Here is an idea for everyone! A little incentive if you will. Buy bags of flour or sugar (or both) or any bagged food that has a weight of 5-10 lbs. For every 5 or 10 lbs you lose donate that bag to a local food bank. Example: if you lose 5 lbs donate 5 lb bag or set your goal at 10lbs & donate that much. What a way to benefit those in need, but see your weight going down. Carolyn

Carolyn....you little night owl...... What a neat idea (for so early in the am ) And it is that time of year when they ask for donations to the food banks( like people don't need food year 'round) Have a great day Sheila

Hi Jesi, know that's alot of weight, just imagine when we were carrying that much extra around! There were several replies to the mock pizza, not the one I was looking for so will probably go back & take a look at older views & try to find it. My chicken casserole recipe: Heat oven to 375 2 or 3 cans drained green beans chicken pieces (I use chicken breasts) Put green beans then chicken in cake pan Cheese sauce: 2 or 3 cups grated cheese 1 can cream soup (I also add some milk to this) Stir over low heat until cheese has melted then pour over the chicken pieces. Bake 1 hr 15 minutes. Getting everything in one pan! Enjoy, we really like this casserole. It's fast & easy & yummyyyyy. Hugs Carolyn

GF you always come up with the best of ideas...now why couldnt you have come up with this sooner lol? Imagine us all lugging around all that flour and sugar....my goodness makes me tired just thinking about it! David and I talked about taking the kids up to the soup kitchen on Thanksgiving and help with serving, have always wanted to do this, and now I think it is time! Have a great day, Janet S
