Hi Stephanie Welcome to the Iowa Board You will find alot of & support here. Always feel free to ask any questions you might have. I'm from by Sioux City so don't get over your way sorry to say. Although we are planning a get together next summer, Lyn is checking into prices for us now. Now St. Louis I do go thru, generally every summer I go to Cape Girardeau. Love the drive down there from St. Louis it is beautiful, especially in the fall. Haven't made it that way for the past 2 yrs but hopefully will be going next summer. Welcome Stephanie, to Iowa and the Iowa board! I am pre-op with Dr G. Am soooooooo very close to having a date. Just one more hurdle. I started my journey in Aug 2003. Didn't get a consult til Dec. Then it has been insurance 'dilemmas' (to put it nicely ) ever since. I have not met Dr G personally, but I have NO complaints about the rest of his crew. They are so nice and helpful. I attended my first support group meeting this month, and plan on attending Nov. Hope to see you there! Speaking of support, this site is THE PLACE to be. As Carolyn said, the love and support are awesome. take care Sheila

Hey Stephanie! Welcome to the Iowa board. As you see, I live in Wisconsin...actually just across the river from Iowa, but have always considered myself an Iowa girl!
