Hi All, First of all Andrea take some time for yourself. For myself I'm an early riser (yesterday morn it was 1:30 a.m.!!) & love my me time when I'm up early. Goals were met last week, I did hit the 200 lb mark (scales not moving again!) & really started chugging the water. I use to be a big ice cube fiend, would fill my glass with ice cubes with some water. Since surgery the cubes hold no interest for me & drinking from a glass doesn't cut it either!! Have water bottle will travel. I fill them with water then put them in the freezer to get them good & cold. Hot tea has become my friend, love the herbal flavored teas, tis the season! Tomorrow is my 6 month anniversary, 65 lbs gone forever! As usual wi**** was more!!! But according to the BMI calculator I'm a month ahead so as long as I can stay with that then I'm happy. Due to death of brother-in-law I did have to buy a new outfit for the funeral, looked pretty darn good if I say so, size 18 although 16's are a little snug but getting there! AND I have started wearing makeup again & have that new perm so feeling better about myself. Goals for this week is to keep up on the water, try to get more in. Get BELOW 200!! ONLY 50 lbs more to goal....I can do it! I love to read, mostly romance books, Civil War era is my fave. Also have Fern Michaels series of Texas books, really liked them. Don't like the Harliquin books never have, they have to be novels. Have a good week all! I see my surgeon for 6 month checkup on Thursday, can hardly believe it's been that long! Carolyn

Oh my gosh, Carolyn, I could never get up that early! I'm up by 5:30, 5:45 daily anyway. That's early enough! Congrats on hitting the 200 pound mark! It will only be a litle time before you are below 200 - I'm sure. Keep up the good work! God bless, Andrea P.S. Happy belated birthday! I haven't had time to get through all of the posts yet, but did see that it was your birthday. Hope the day treated you well!

Hello Andrea, Are you finally feeling better? Are things better at work? You did not post that you have to watch what you say at work . I did not post goals last week. Shaaaaaaaame on me. I did however make it through a tough week. (as some of my posts have revealed). And I have been posting more and replying more. That has been a long term goal for me. I am so darn shy! This week WILL be better. Except I do have to deal with the insurance company AGAIN for some appts they didn't pay for. sigh...... So, my main goal, after the ins company call, is going to be staying "healthy". There are a few people in the office that are sick. Fever, sinus, throat crud. I tell them to get out and stay away. I just know I will get a surgery date and then get sick. How's that for a positve attitude!! So I will increase the fluids and vit c. Make everbody wash their hands etc etc. Man, am I paranoid or what??? Books....I love books...Depends on my mood as to what I read. Trying to read 'Pride and Prejudice' but is taking a little to get into it. The last book I read was 'Passing for Thin" by Frances Kuffell. A VERY good (and quick) read. I hope everyone has a great week. Sheila

Sheila, Hi, Sorry that I didn't respond sooner. Yep, things are a little better at work. I guess that I am just more able to keep my mouth shut MOST of the time and not say anything that I shouldn't. I also am trying not to wear my heart on my sleeve - I usually cry at the drop of a hat! I am feeling better, but still don't have the results of the MRI back and don't know what is going on with my numb feet. Thanks so much for being concerned for me! I don't think that I read any of your posts about your tough week last week. I'm sorry, time has been so limited. Hope that all is getting better for you. You have a right to be paranoid and want to stay healthy. Heck, you have to keep up your strength just to fight the insurance companies.(LOL) Be sure to stay out of any schools - you know there are just tons of little germy germs all over the place in schools!! Hope that the rest of your week goes better. God bless, Andrea

Janet, Time - what is time? No, there is not enough of it in a day to get done everything that needs done!!! Isn't grazing horrible??? I hate that I do it, and have been trying to schedule my eating times and only allow for one snack at the end of the evening. That helps. Usually I don't have anything to snack on at school, so that makes it easier as well. Gall bladder probs - EWWWWWWWWWW Keep us updated! No news on the MRI yet - have to check that out soon. Hey - are you coming this way this to see Chicago? Let me know! God bless and talk soon, Andrea
