Lynda, I think that's a great goal to walk after kids leave for school. I would love to be able to exercise while the kids were at school, just isn't in my schedule. Eating at the kitchen table is a wonderful way to get family time in - another great goal. Well, good luck on your job interview tomorrow and have a blessed, positive week! God bless, Andrea

Well, I sure didn't stay out Fashion Bug last week- but I did get my butt in a pair of stretch jeans in an 18! So, of course I bought 2 pair! Then I had a little post appointment carb fest, and I'm ready to settle back down and behave again. So: 1. Cut out white flour and sugar to maintain my carb level. 2. Take that cute little beagle for walks at least every other day, weather permitting. 3. Increase the amount of fluids- since it's cooler, I don't get as much in. That ought to keep me busy. Andrea- how about adding to your list- be less hard on Andrea? You're doing a great job, and everyone back slides once in awhile. I LOVE to read! I love Dean Koontz, Tami Hoag, and Patricia Cornwell. Give me a good mystery every tme! Good luck everyone! Jeri H.

Jeri, Thanks for the encouragement. You hit the Fashion Bug again???? Size 18 - whoo hoo - you skinny thing, you! Remember, hit those second hand stores - you can justify the purchases easier! Don't you wish that sugar and white flour weren't around at all? Sure would make my life easier! Hopefully the weather will hold out for you and that little doggy. Haven't even heard of those authors, but sounds like you love a good book! Have a blessed week, Jeri. God bless, Andrea

Hi All, First, I want you to notice that I am posting again so soon! LOL Second, goals for this week: more water; call for an appt. with a different surgeon; try not to almost cut any body parts off. (LOOOONNNNGGGG story, but was fixing supper and the knife slipped. almost cut my left thumb off.) I like to read, when I have the time and my interests vary with my moods. Right now I seem to be in a kind of home improvement mode. I have 5 books out from the library and am working on Don Aslett's Clutter Free, Finally and Forever. I could NOT put it down last night. It is like light bulbs were going on in my head. (other books i have out are: Julie Morgenstern's Organizing From the Inside Out ; Stephanie Winston's Best Organizing Tips ; Better Homes and Gardens' 301 Stylish Storage Ideas; and Ty (Trading Spaces) Pennington's Home Repair secretsplus cheap and easy projects to transform any room. ) Did I mention we are getting ready to move the first of the month or so and I am so excited and am looking for ideas? (For those of you with my address, just take the 1/2 off and you have my new address.) If anyone wants the Author/titles of books I liked, let me know. Also have found a few websites. Yeah, Elizabeth - you're here again and so soon!!! Glad to see you on here. We'll be looking for updates about appointments with a new surgeon because we all want to know what is going on with you! Now, will you please keep the knives where they are supposed to be? No one ever said that a loss thumbs would count as a weight loss! Do you have a lot of stitches? Be careful, please. Hey, if you find any good ideas in those books, do you want to come organize my house? Heck, I'd pay someone to come go through my papers and things and organize my life! I don't have any time and it needs done soooo terribly! Has to be done soon because we will be having our kitchen torn apart in the next several months and my file cabinet and desk are in the kitchen (paperwork is stacked on TOP of the file cabinet). HOpe your move goes well. Have a great week and God bless, Andrea

Hello All! Last week was good, but goals were so so. I am having problems getting in the fluids. I just don't seem to make it the prioriety it should be (please don't scold--my family is always on me about it). I have to figure out how to make it work for me. Also, I just don't seem to be able to get to Curves. I am so busy and that is an easy thing to just skip. I miss it and it is the only time I ever get to see my best friend (I thought that would keep me going better, but I still don't). I am tired lately and the cold weather is causing me to want to hibernate!! It is amazing how much 80 pounds insulated me, now I am cold all the time. What will I do when it gets really cold? So goals for this week: 1. FLUIDS 2. Supplements 3. Exercise 4. Relax and stay calm (is that possible?) Question of the week: I love to read for fun--I have not read since summer (no time). Dean Koontz is my all time favorite! TTFN Jackie

Jackie, Okay - no scolding from me, we love you too much here. Besides, you know what you are supposed to do and we all screw it up at times! Is there any way that you could get to Curves right after work or first thing in the morning? I know that when I did not exercise for 2 weeks when sick, my mood was terrible. Hubby finally begged me to go to the gym - and I did And I felt better. About being cold - invest in sweaters and turtle necks! I, too, am cold all of the time. My kids don't know what to do with the thermostat set above 65!!! Try to get some time in to read this week, hon and use that as your relaxing time. Also - do you ever take baths? I like to at night sometimes when the kids are asleep. Hot bath, candles, fragrant bath salts..........hmmmmmmmmmm I could fall asleep thinking about it! Hang in there and try not to stress too much this week. God bless, Andrea
