Last weeks goals were pretty good- I still can't seem to make it to the gym, but walked 6 out of the 7 days. That may have to do until it gets too cold and icky out. I love this cool weather. This weeks goals: 1. Find out Thursday if I'm approved for the tummy tuck. 2. Be a little less sarcastic with some co-workers. 3. Be a little more sarcastic with others! 4. Stay out of Fashion Bug for a whole week- I'm really becoming quite the fashion slave! Hope you and yours are feeling better, Andrea. I have one daughter, 22 and one son in law. I really don't think I want any more kids at 52 years of age! Maybe a grand baby or two down the road a ways! Jeri H.

Jeri, Sorry that it has taken so long for me to respond - a hectic week!!! I'm glad that you are still walking - I'd be frozen right out of my shoes if I walked in this weather!! Keep us updated about that tummy tuck. Can't the work force be fun? I'm tired of some of my co-workers, but I just do my job to the best of my ability and try not to get into any squabbles. Hey - have you tried any second hand shops? It's my new passion - I am wearing Tommy H. jeans and shirt right now that I probably paid about $20 for at a second hand shop. I also picked up a bunch of clothes the last couple of weeks at the Goodwill store in Davenport for .25 a piece - yep, I said a quarter a piece. Can't beat that price!!! Heck, at that price, you can afford to be a fashion slave! It still shocks me that you have a daughter that age, however, my son just turned 18 yesterday! Thanks for the well wishes - we're all on the mend now. God bless, Andrea

Hello Well, not much going on. Just very depressed! Lost my Health Insurance, my SSI, and can't go to any of my counselor appointments. We're not sure where to go next. Goals: 1. Eat more, - not hungry, so I don't eat. 2. Walk a little more. I can't have kids, since I had the hysterectomy, but I have 2 nieces who I love to play with. Take Care Lisa Young

Okay, Lisa, sorry that this is so late. Have you looked into state insurance, (Title 19)? You should be able to get something. IN the meantime, have you looked into any community health centers? They could probably monitor medication if that is the route that you need to go. I'm concerned that you aren't eating. Please be sure to take care of you! Please forgive my off-topic question if it bothered you. I didn't even think that it may be troublesome to someone who is unable to have children. I'm so sorry. Hope that things look up for you soon, God bless, Andrea

Andrea, get to feeling better SOON!!!. My goals were out the window as far as getting to the gym last week. I have been fighting this very nasty persistent kidney/uti infection that just seems to have drained the life right out of me. I have a hard time staying awake and feel like my kidneys were the punching bag in a prize fight. OUCH!. As for the other I have two boys, Evan age 9 who is constantly on the go, he speaks his mind always but he is also my love bug. My oldest son Mason is 11 and in 6th grade, he is my quiet one but has the most wonderful smile and laugh that just makes my heart sing when I hear him. I am not able to have anymore, but lately have thought about adoption, a little girl perhaps but that is down the road, we need a bigger place to live before we can squeeze anymore in here. I also have 2 dogs a basset and a beagle who think they are the rules of the roost and we are they're slaves. Have a great week everyone!

Leslea, Hi = hope that you are feeling better! Man, if it's not one thing with illness, it's another. Kidney/uti infections are no fun! Do you drink cranberry juice? I probably couldn't drink it straight, but might try watering it down some. Remember, keep up with the water, too. If you can't stay awake, are you battling a fever? Hope things are better. Evan and Mason - I like those names. I can feel the love that you have for them in the way that you described them. Adoption sounds good - something that we have thought about as well. Hope that you get better soon. God bless, Andrea

Hey, Jodi! Sorry that I haven't responded sooner - hectic week. Wow - you are now in the century club!! Bravo, Bravo, Bravissimo , Great job! You have worked hard, I'm sure. Hope that you did well on your goals this week. Now - a grand daughter? You're NOT old enough to even have a 20 year old!! I keep reminding my now 18 year old Danny that I am way too young to be a grandma, so he had better watch himself! Glad that you stopped in. Hope to hear from you more often. God bless, Andrea
