Update on Kris S.
Kris is out of the hospital and doing well. She's suffering a little from the "what have I done" blues, and would appreciate words of encouragement from some of us "old timers"! Please let her know we are all wishing her the best- let's prove those folks who say we are not supportive wrong!
What was the most important thing you remember at 1 week post op? Mine was to chew, chew, chew and concentrate on getting those $%^&( fluids in. Kris, it will get easier every day- I promise!
Thanks in advance for all of your support!

Kris,
Welcome to the losing side of this journey!! I think that once home from the hospital, I really had to concentrate on those fluids. It hurt to drink anything, but was important to always be sipping on something. Another thing that I had to concentrate on was allowing the hubby to take care of the kids and the house. So what if he doesn't clean as well as you do or if the kids did not have a bath for one day.............. Get your rest now and take time to heal well!
Welcome home and God bless,
Andrea
Yeah drinking is a toughie.......CONGRATS CONGRATS Try some hot liquids too, for me those were easier to get down at first, heck I still love them.....Some hot decaf tea, or sugar free hot cocoa! The warmth is soothing to our like tuckered out tummys! Best of luck and Take Care.......make sure to come here with any questions or anything! Jesi
