last tuesday i went to the clinton support meeting. had a great time . came home and soaked in my jetted bathtub for an hour, got out and had a bad dizzy spell. i just thought i spent too much time in the tub. the next morning i had 2 more spells. went to the urgent care clinc, dr couldnt find anything wrong, even though my bp was 70/40. sent me home. i stop at the local hop and shop, and passed out. some kind people brought me home and got my hubby up. he works nights. he got me right into my regular dr. my dr then put me into the hospital. i had 2 spots in myu small intestine that were bleeding! i had them lazar and then got 2 pints of blood. a week later i still dont feel very good. have a check up tomorrow. dr tells me it was the new heart med i was on, plavix. be careful of new meds girls. love mary jo

Hi Mary, Sure glad they found out what the problem was. I was going to talk to my doc about Plavix only cuz I had seen it advertised. I'm on Toprol for my heart condition. I had a side effect from a cholestrol med, first time it happened was Carnie weekend. I thought I was having a stroke & almost woke the girls up to take me to outpatients but it passed. Then it happened again not long ago. I called the doc (on a Sunday) told him the symptoms & he knew right away what the problem was. My face would go numb & get hot, let me tell you scared the crap out of me. Those pills got flushed! If this keeps up with your med I would insist on a different one. Thankfully we live in a time where there are alot of different meds out there. Hope you get to feeling better, will keep you in my thoughts & prayers. Carolyn

Mary how scary, someone watching out for you, thank goodness you weren't driving when you passed out. Take care of yourself and don't try to do to much too soon. God Bless.

Mary, Wow - I'm sure glad that someone was able to get you home and hubby got you to the doc. It had to have been scary!!! New heart meds can make your intestines bleed? What did the doc say at your check up? Keep us posted and I'll keep you in my prayers. God bless, Andrea
