Carol, I finally was able to get to this site, I usally make it once a week if I'm lucky, but I just wanted to give you my point of view on a couple of things. I have Leiden factor IV syndrome which means I clot, never knew this until I had a blood clot 4 years ago, since then I have been on Coumadin for about 1 year and have been on enteric coated aspirin since. Yes you do bruise easy, but Take heart in the fact that your surgeon is looking out for you, mine nor my FP doc said anything about taking Pepcid for my stomach. I guess they don't think it's a problem. Anyways be glad in the weight you have lost and know we all hit plateaus, I'm stuck on one for over a month and driving me nuts but other than avoiding the scale I just go one day at a time. Understand by what you said your busy, we're all busy and sometimes have only a few minutes to get on and view this site so we read through, try to answer when we can. Hopefully you didn't leave the site yet just know we all have a our good days and bad but support here is usually pretty good and obviously people on here care or you wouldn't have received all those responses.
