Tomorrow is the big day for my hysterectomy.....I am on a liquid diet today with a party with an enema tonight.....oh it makes me so mad that I have to do that.....I have never had an enema, and I didn't even need one with the WLS.....oh well, they have their reasons I guess!!! I am getting my house all tidy and clothes washed and list put together for hubby on keeping the kids in order....I have to pack yet too! I go in tomorrow morning at 7am and have my surgery at 9:30am......They said I will go home on Sat if all goes well, I have to have it open as I have never given birth(2 c-sections) and I have a very tipped cervix/uterus. I will have my hubby update probably tomorrow night!! Everyone have a great rest of the week and weekend....I will see ya back on here Sunday or Monday! If you have a few extra seconds would you mind saying a prayer for me! Take Care Jesi

I'll be praying for you, Jesi. You'll do fine, I'm sure. Like I said before, in my opinion this surgery was easier for me than the RNY. Where are you having it, what hospital, I mean? I know that some hospitals have a feature on their website that allows you to send an e-mail to the patient which is printed out & delivered to the patient. If we could do that, we could send you all kinds of encouragement. The Covenant system has this and it's really nice to get the greetings. If it works like theirs, we would need your last name though. Dixie

I just checked & both Mercy & Findley in Dubuque has this option but it does require that we put in your last name. Dixie

Oh Jesi, you don't even have to ask for prayers from me. I will be sending them up tonight and in the morning. You'll be fine - just go to sleep with the best thoughts you can tomorrow. Hugs Melinda
