Up Date!

Hello everyone,I am so excited!I had my consult yesterday and all went wonderful!!I have to go to a new program they offer thru area plains for ppl planning on having this surgery and my Dr. is getting the approval from my ins(which he said will not be a prob for me for various reasons)so in around a month I will have a surgery date!!So I will sign up for that program today and we will see what it is.My b-day is coming soon and wouldnt that be a wonderful present to be given the gift of a new life!!!Thanks everyone I will keep you posted.

Congrats.....It is so exciting!!! There are a lot of hoops to jump and bumps in the road with this whole procedure....start to end.....but hang in there it is ALL worth it in the end!! Take Care and best of luck !!! Jesi

Thanks Jesi,I am excited and I know it will all be worth it,but I hit 1 of those bumps(darn it)the program thru area plains only has 1 conseler so I can't get in there till mid nov.I know it is just a speed bump but ssssooo frustrating!Oh well nothing to do but wait.Guess things are always better when you have to wait for them.I will be talking to ya Lori A.

Hi carolyn,my b-day is on the 3rd,and yes janet,you and I will have to go do coffee one of these day'sIts been a disappointing day so kind of down,my son got hurt a couple of weeks ago,found out today he will be disabled for the rest of his life he is 17!!He has surgery monday so please say a prayer for him.And I have to wait till the middle of nov. for an app. to area plains!!So the waiting begins for me(darn it)Well I will be talking to ya.Lori A.

Lori, Sounds like you have a good start to this journey. I hope that everything will go smoothly for you and quickly. I'm sorry to hear about your son - I have a 17 year old as well.
