To/For My Friend Sheryl E - Surgery date 10/05/04

Tomorrow morning my new found friend Sheryl E. will be having surgery in Omaha. Soon she will be on the losing side with a lot of us. This is what I would like to leave her for tonight: I remember the anxiety level the night before surgery and the prayer I carried in my heart even through the next morning. Lord please be with her, calm her, give her peace, and let her know those of us who care about her are with her in spirit. Please be with her surgeon, guide his hands and let his work be yours. Be with the nurse, tech, anesthesia, and all those medical professionals that come in contact with her - let them remember that she is your daughter and to take care of her. Help her to recover quickly and let her know the joy of losing. Sheryl, I am so gratful that God put you in my life. You are such a joy to have around. I will come up when I know you can remember the visit and I promise not to make you laugh. We love you and soon you will be posting pounds lost. Hugs from heaven Melinda
