Janie, Got it - your goals would be,...................let's see.............exercise and water, right! I have had a bad week about getting to the gym, too. Too much going on or too sick. Hope that you are doing better than I am. Keep working hard and I'm sure that you will lose that 6 pounds in no time flat. And, don't worry, you'll be into size 12's soon. Keep doing what you know works and you will be successful. You've had a great loss so far, keep it up. About the feelings that you are holding on to that fat - you know me, I gotta recommend seeing a therapist, counselor or psychologist if you feel it will help. I see mine every other week. Just a suggestion- but know that we have faith in you! God bless, Andrea P.\s. I'll be waiting to hear soon that you lost that 6 pounds!!!

Well, I'm here again. I think I did ok. I made it to Curves 3 times last week. I lost 3lbs in 5 days (with PMS as well). I have not weighed since Friday. My gaols this week are: 1. Curves three times 2. WATER 3. Low Carb 4. Watch the weekend. I had a bad weekend. I can do great during the week, but I make up for it on the weekend.

Michelle, The weekends are hard for me, too!! I am at home, don't have a routine and hubby is at work or sleeping. (He helps to keep me accountable in a very kind and loving way.) Great job on the 3 lbs - and with PMS - WOW!!! Just wait till all that monthly friend stuff is over and it will probably be more like a 5 pound loss or more!!! Good luck on your goals this week and on staying on track this weekend. God bless, Andrea

Andrea- Sorry to hear about your sinus infection- just got over one myself! They are the worst! Did pretty good with my goals this week-walked a mile 4 times, controlled my stress eating a little better, and actually said no to several temptations. Hope it will carry on this week! 1. Continue the walking at least 3 days a week- work towards 5. 2. When I crave something sweet- go for 1 full glass of water, then a protein first. If that doesn't work, have a small something sweet and get over it. 3. Continue to monitor carbs! I make some killer enchilada's with hamburger, refried beans, lo carb tortilla's and shredded cheese. You can spice em up or down- ups my favorite lately! Hope you're feeling better soon! Jeri H.

Jeri, Sorry I didn't respond sooner. Sinus infection got worse and went into my chest then I got the kids' pukey, poopey flu. It has been a rotten week. Girl, I'm going to keep stealing your goals. Love #2, but for me it would be for something sweet or starchy. I have to continue to watch the carbs, too. Why is it so easy to grab a f/f pretzal instead of an apple? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Well, hope your week has gone good. God bless, Andrea P,S, Great job on the exercising!

Hi Andrea, Hope you're feeling better! I stopped at the hospital today for a weigh-in, and I've lost 27 pounds so far! Yay! Looks like I'm off that damn plateau for now. I can now wear jeans I haven't been able to fit into for 2 years. Anyhoo, my goals for this week are: Continue walking Drink more water Lay off the fried mozzarella (hah!) See y'all at the next support meeting! Shelley Rath

Shelley, Sorry that I did not respond sooner - my family has been sick, sick, sick! Great job on the loss and fitting into those jeans! Keep up the good work. It's hard with those plateaus, but just remember that we have to teach our bodies what they need to do and give them time to adjust to our new lifestyle. Now, are you hooked on the cheese crisps? Sorry....... I sometimes have to watch it because I have too many. Haven't had any lately. Hope your week has gone well. God bless, Andrea

Hey Gang..... First tomorrow is Sheryl E's day. Keep her in your prayers - she was really anxious when we met on Saturday. I had a good week. I made it to the gym 3 times. I drank more water and I am not letting the emotions call the shots. School is kicking my butt. This week I am just taking it one moment at a time. I hope to be good and eat healthy. I hope to get to the gym at least 3 times. I hope to take my vitamins. Favorite food: boiled eggs (excellent source of protein), chicken salad, fresh fruit, salad, and I love meat (chix, pork, beef) Hugs Melinda

Melinda, Sounds like you are doing well if you are not letting the emotions get to you. I wear my heart on my sleeve and have to work hard to keep my mouth shut at times. I'm sure that you have done well on your goals this week. I would love to be able to eat eggs more, but they sit sooooooooo heavy in my little tummy that I can't eat them often. Love the salads, though and have to work on getting meats in because I would rather eat cheese sticks. Sorry that I did not respond sooner. My whole family has been sick - sinus stuff and stomach flu. God bless, Andrea

Haven't made any goals for a while. Been kinda in a funk but I think I'm better now. This week's goals: Stop snacking. Exercise - Curves 3 times and walk twice Drink more. I've still been losing but slowly so I'm trying to get back on track. Favorite foods??? NONE! I hate food. Especially meat. UGH! Nothing tastes good. I only eat because I have to. Tonight I got down an ounce of a pork chop. That's it. Just couldn't do it. And I really hate ground beef. Just don't like the taste anymore. Only in chili. Go figure. But not spaghetti. Strange. Thanks goodness for Nectar, Carb Solutions bars and cottage cheese. I guess I've gotten to the point where I eat to live, not live to eat. Lyn
