Just a short update

Hello Everyone, Just a quick update from me. I am hanging in there. September was not a good month for weight loss - less than 2 pounds. Yes I know my body has to adjust to the loss of 90 pounds already but it still sucks majorly. I am making a few small goals for October to 'kick it up a notch'. Gonna increase the exercise (really slacked off the last 30 days) and gonna leave the 'junk' alone (too many of the old 'this won't hurt'). I kinda wish I 'dumped' on some stuff but alas only on pork roast so far. Have not tried any soda pop and no intention to do so, the Crystal Lite serves its purpose and now that it is chilling off I will start drinking hot tea. Our daughter and her family (spouse, 2 sons, 1 puppy) have been living with us the last month and that means more 'bad' (how can an inanimate object be bad?!?) food in the house. Just have to get the gray matter working again and fight the good fight when it comes to the emotional eating. Lester is lucky that his weight was not brought on by emotional eating - hard to explain to someone that has never done it. Gonna go to bed now before I fill up this whole page with my jabbering. The Lord bless and keep you. Thanks for all the support. Peace & Love, Carol

Carol, Thanks for the update! Wow - with remodeling and family living with your, things have to be stressful. I eat with emotions, too and have to discuss a lot of those issues with the psychologist. We should make a slogan all of us for October - to "kick it up a notch". I bet that we would have an awesome month of loss if we all really tried hard together! I know that you can do it! Thanks again for the update and the blessings, God bless you, as well, Andrea P.S. How is married life treating you?

It wouldn't be my life if there wasn't stress. Somedays are worse than others. I enjoy having the kids here and the puppy (Gretchen) is a cutey but she is not completely house broke yet! Married life is good as always. Don't think I could have gotten any better with my choice of lifemate. He is definitely a keeper! Did good on the eating but didn't get any exercise today. Raining out and we had friends here. Busy day tomorrow-have to run some errands tomorrow am and in the pm is a parade - Pumpkinfest in Anamosa. Our very good friends are coming for supper tomorrow nite - they are leaving on Wednesday to go to Idaho and points beyond and won't see them for about a year. Be hard to say good bye to them. Need all the blessings we can get in this life. Peace & Love, Carol
