9/27 Roll Call and goals (Let's hear from everyone)
Hey, Kristi, so glad that you chose to post goals this week! We're here to help keep you accountable. I know what you mean about the water - on the weekends, I graze more and therefore get in less fluids. I gotta watch that behavior!! Walking is a wonderful exercise and the weather is georgeous this time of year!
Do things only get dropped in your living room? Things in my house are scattered from front door to back, upstairs and down! It is a never-ending cleaning process! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
By the way, I read your profile - how much have you lost now? Your last update was a little over 100 pounds.
Hope you have a great week.
God bless,
Andrea
Hi! I don't know if anyone else gets this way, but do you all get sweet and salty cravings during the week you have your periods? AND, I know I shouldn't eat cnady, but the only way to curb the cravings is with 2-3 midget tootsie rolls! MY personal goal for the next month is to find a way around those cravings that does not involve candy!!! ANY ideas?! They usually hit at work, which is even harder to deal with!
So far I have lost 132 pounds since the surgery in Feb. I have lost 160 pounds since last November! I can't believe it.
We just closed on our new house a week and a half ago, and are finally all moved in AND unpacked!!! WOW~! I stopped going to the rec center during that time because between trying to move in and get unpacked, and go to work, there was just not enough of me to go around. And today I took a time out for me and just SLEPT all morning! Tomorrow morning I start back at the rec center!
Monday Oct 4 is my 6 year wedding anniversary. To celebrate we are going to The Mall of America this weekend!!! I NEVER in a million years would have thought I would be WANTING to go to a MALL!
ANYONE who has clothes size 1X tops and 18-20 stretchy pant bottoms...PLZ let me know! I am willing to drive up to 4 hours to get some clothes!! I REALLY could use a winter coat, too. Probably a 2X right now, possibly a 1X.
My new email address is [email protected]
Hope you all have a GREAT week!

Since my goal keeping has been major sucky here lately, maybe if I write them down it will help!
1. Re-affrim DAILY that I control what goes into my mouth.
2. Realize that stress is something I can control WITHOUT resorting to food.
3. Get off my butt and MOVE!!!!!
That should keep me going this week- I will post these somewhere prominent and review them daily!!

Jeri,
So glad that you are posting. I know, it is so hard to keep goals. I post them and forget about them if I don't print them out. I think that I need your goals, too!!!! If you learn to control stress without resorting to food - let me know.
Haven't you been going to the gym still? You were doing so good - what's up?
I know that you will do well with your goals this week. I have faith in you!
God bless,
Andrea
Hello All,
After reading so about so many of you struggling with goals, I am happy to say stick with it. After, many weeks of not doing very well with goals, I can say this week was good! I still need to REALLY work on the fluids, but everything else came together this week, FINALLY.
Goals:
1. Stay with Curves (actually got back to there this week, now I just gotta keep going)
2. Fluids, always have something in my hand (how do you get in 100 oz, I can't hardly do the 64)?
3. Celebrate that my son is coming home from Denver CO. I have not seen him since last Christmas!!!
4. Find time for me (and time for Hubby)

Jackie,
I am soooooooooo glad that you did well with your goals. Great job!!!! Do you just love Curves? I am hooked on going to the gym. About the water, I just always have something to drink. The bottles in my truck prove it. I also worked hard shortly after surgery to "teach" myself to drink a little faster than I used to. I was getting dehydrated and now can drink 8 oz pretty quickly.
I'm so very excited that you get to see your son. It sounds like you are going to have a blast!! I can't imagine being away from my son for that long. He's almost 18, though, so I probably don't have much time.
In between everything in your busy life - be SURE to make time for you and hubby.
Have a great week, again.
God bless,
Andrea
Okay I am the best at setting goals.... I suck at accomplishing them. So I am turning over a new leaf... The only goal I have is to pray (about everything) my mind be open and working for school, my mouth be shut to bad food, etc. So I am no longer going to make goals. Last week really threw me in the emotional toilet. I am not a strong person, therefore I have to push away negative emotions or I get so wrapped up in them I get depressed. So instead of weighing every week... I am weighing on the 28th of the month only (date of surgery). Then when I don't loose or loose as much I won't get depressed.
I ate like crap last week. It was national Surg Tech week and the hospital brought in food. Oh yeah.... can you say toilet time. But the eating craze is over... Thank you Heavenly Father.
I do have a couple blips of good news: I now can wear large scrubs (last year I was wearing 3x) I was given a gift cert to Victoria Secrets today from a friend. (I will spend it when I hit 175) and last but not least....
I stopped at the YMCA and I worked out and guess what???? I didn't sweat like a pig like I use too.
Well have a good week.... Miss Olivia is needing some snuggle time.
Hugs
Melinda
