New to this board

Hi all~ I have been addicted to obesityhelp for the past month....I live in Omaha, but have found that the Nebraska board is not very active, so I have decided to switch to the Iowa side! Melinda is going to be my angel for my surgery (10-5-04)...what a sweetheart!!! I welcome all your suggestions/ideas/jokes!!!

Welcome Sheryl E, I hope you enjoy and learn as much (or more) as I have from this site. The people here are soooo supportive and helpful. I was not involved with any program, just the surgery and VERY little info from the surgeon, I don't know what I would of done without the help I got here. I'm positive you will find lots of answers here. Best wishes Nut

Sheryl Welcome to this side of the river. There is so much support on this board you won't know what to do with it all!! As Melinda said, Andreas Monday roll call helps keep us on the straight and narrow. I have found that lurking is not tolerated here!! They just pull you right out from under that chair! again, welcome 'aboard' Sheila

Sheryl, Hi and welcome again! I'd like to think that it is Melinda dragging you out from under your chair here, instead of me.. (giggle). The people here are so supportive! It is absolutely amazing when you can post something and get some good responses. I still am in awe with the number of people that read and post on this board. Welcome Sheryl I will jump on the wagon & say this is the best support group you will find. AND a bunch of us have met before & let me tell ya they are great in person also Ask any questions or concerns you may have. Congrats on your date, what hospital are you going to? I'm near Sioux City & have been known to go to Omaha on occassion! Carolyn
