Well, it is now official - I am under 200 pounds. I weighed in last night at the support group meeting (at the center where I had surgery), and weighed in at 200.5 pounds. That was AFTER going to the bathroom, taking off the cell phone and the shoes. Soooooooooo, since it was just Jesi, the nurse manager of the center (who said that she has seen me naked anyway) and one other woman who was in the bathroom - I shimmied off my denim skort and weighed again for a weight of 199.5. I'm calling that one official - 199.5, (sounds good, doesn't it?) 199.5 At one point in my life, I was well over 350. I was 327 when I began the weight loss surgery journey. Sooooooooo..................that's a loss of 127.5. WOW! (Now, if I only felt like everyone says I look!) Thanks for listening and God bless, Andrea P.\s. This continues to be hard work. I watch my food intake AND exercise almost daily. (I'm hooked on exercising.)

WOW!!!! I just logged on after a long evening class and this was the first post I hit! What great news!!!! You really do look great, and I havn't seen you in a month. I hope you start feeling terrific too. Is your energy any better this year with work? I'm finding that I have alot more energy than I did last year. Hope all is well with you, I really miss the evening support group, but I got my class changed to Tuesday nights next semester. So I should be able to attend after the holidays. Don't forget to celebrate your victory, do something really nice for yourself. You deserve it! Take care I miss chatting, Eileen

Thanks so much, Eileen. I missed you at the support group meeting. I look forward to seeing you again. Call me anytime to chat! I think that I will celebrate by visiting the second hand stores to clothe my almost naked butt, (I had to retire another skort this week and a skort and shirt last week and need to add another couple of shirts to the "too big" pile). Yep - usually I have plenty of energy to spare, however, when I drop - I drop hard! Talk to you soon and God bless, Andrea

Congratulations! I am so happy for you it is such a great feeling to be in the 100's and not the 200's. Thank you also for posting the tart and fried cheese recipe. The fried cheese sounded sooooo delicious. I like cheese and garlic. I again congratulate you on your weight loss. Kim

Kimberly, Thanks for the congrats. Remember that I started in the 300's - so this is a big accomplishment for me. I found my 8th grade report card a couple of months ago and they had my weight listed for the end of the year as 196 pounds - to think that I am almost the size that I was in 8th grade! WOW that's unfathomable!!! (Granted, I'm proportioned a LOT differently and a lot more saggy than 8th grade!!) Thanks again and God bless, Andrea

Andrea, Yea for YOU!!!! How wonderful, and the feeling like everyone says you look will come with time. I think it takes our brains more time to register the lost weight than it takes our bodies to actually loose it. Keep up all your hard work, because it shows and soon you will believe it as well.
