Question about Dr. Willie McClairen

Hey, does anybody know anything about a Dr. Willie McClairen? I believe that he does Bariatric Surgery in the Des Moines area. I have a friend whose son had an emergency appendectomy about 2 weeks ago done by Dr. McClairen. He told his mom that this surgeon had some problems with several Post-Op WLS patients.
