Hi all! I am finding that telling you all my gaols and making myself be accountable to you all is reaqlly helping me out. Soooo..... THANK YOU ALL who keep this site going and active! Last week was a not so good week for goals. I have been getting my period every 3 weeks and the week I have it all I want to do is EAT! ARG! SO needless to say I did not drink protein drinks at all. I wanted real food. I did exercise 3 days , but I do need to increase that as well. THIS WEEK WILL BE BETTER!!!!! Goals: 1) Meditate and pray everyday 2) Get my protein in 3) Take vitamins & B12 & calcium every single day 4)exercise 5 days at least 1 hour 5)Go to the Farmers Market on Sat. We have to do something fun in there! Have a good week , Tammy

Tammy, I love your goals! Sorry that I didn't reply sooner. Life is hectic again now that I am back to work. I try to blend two of the goals together - when I am doing my cardio workouts, I am also often praying. I'm sure that people think that I am putting my head down and closing my eyes because I am working so hard, but .......I'm in prayer. Thanks for that Farmers Market idea. Now my mouth is watering for some good, fresh raspberries!! Hope all is well and God bless, Andrea

Well, Is there anything new an different that I want to start in my life? Yes, I want to go back to school and get my Doctoral degree. Other than that, for my goals, I just had surgery last Tuesday, and am losing rapidly. My goal is to focus on getting well, healing nicely, drinking my water, and exercising daily. I also need to get this tube out (a drain tube) and that may happen tomorrow. I've been so encouraged by everyone here at Obesity Help! I printed out all the cards and emails and am including them in my scrapbooking of my weight loss. So, thank you...thank you.

KW, Congrats on making it through surgery and welcome to the losing side of this journey. I'm so glad that you have received support! Hope that you have support at home as well. Be sure to take the time to heal and get plenty of rest now. By the way, have you tried sugar free bomb pops? I think they are made with Splenda and my dietician says they count as fluids. YUMMMMMM! Wow - want to go for your doctorate? Wow! I still need to finish my master's program. What is your field of study? Good luck with everything and God bless, Andrea

Goal are good. I am bad. I didn't make it back to Curves. Everything else is going okay. I went to my 3 month check and they didn't even know who I was, when we looked at my before picture we were all blown away. I have lost 68 pounds. Goals for the week: 1. GET BACK TO CURVES 2. Water and supplements (getting better at this) 3. Don't kill my new middle school kids (this will be a challenge). TTFN Jackie

Jackie, Glad that you are here and posting goals!! You are not bad, just our actions are bad, sometimes, right?!?! Sorry that you were having some of those same female probs that others are having. I hope that your procedure helped with things. Now, just to get everything under control so you can act on those new, skinny, sexy feelings!!! (Watch out hubby!! ) Wow, 68 pounds is a tremendous loss. Congratulations!! You are doing wonderfully. It would be nice if we could see a pic, too....... I know that working out is hard, now that we have lives again, but, remember you did this surgery for you and you need to find time in your life to continue to make those healthy lifestyle changes like going to Curves. YOU need to make YOU a priority! Now, about those middle school kids, sorry, can't help there . Once they get that age, they become like little aliens to me - I'll stick to k-2 Special Ed students! Have a glorious week and enjoy the weekend that is almost here. God bless, Andrea

Let us know how all that goes! I bet that you will be under 200 in just a short time!! Hang in there! God bless, Andrea
