Wow, Dawn, those don't sound like issues that I want to deal with at all. You, Lisa and Jesi all going through something similar - yuk!! Sorry that I can't help, but thoughts and prayers are with you that you can get something figured out! God bless, Andrea

Hi Dawn, I have had problems as well. I was on the depo shot for about 15 years (which stopped my periods completely) and it has caused many problems, so I went off of it and my cycle took a year and a half to come back. When it did it came with a vengence (I was very regular and had no problems before all this). I went to ER last month because of heavy bleeding and I was a little anemic (sp?). I had the ablation two and a half weeks ago (I was told I would leak for a little while about 10 days). I am still leaking and it is getting heaver the last few days. The good news is I have been feeling amorious (sp?), but unwilling to do anything while in this state. I am in a wait and see mode. I hope this works. It sucks to be skinny enough to feel sexy and then have this stuff happen. TTFN Jackie

Oh my goodness, Jesi, you never told me you were still in pain. :no no: Shame, shame on you!!!!!!!!! You know that I would have been on the phone with you a lot. When you are having problems, remember, I am only a phone call or short drive away!! I'll be calling you soon to find out what you find out Thursday. Hang in there and we'll talk soon, God bless, Andrea

I have so much to be thankful for this week... First I suck at keeping my goals in line and following through. I think what I am doing is having too many goals. So I am shrinking my list - and I will work on 2 goals until I have that down and then I will work on two new ones and so on. Thank you Lord for every ounce lost.... all 854 ounces. That is a grand total of 54 pounds. I was blessed enough to loose 3 more pounds this past week. The greatest news of all... I am now under the 200 mark. The last time I saw less than 200 was i***** and I was 194 for about 6 months and then I was on the heavy side of 200 every since. My best friend Paula who I truly love and am so gratful to have her... sent me a dozen roses today after I told her I made it under the 200 mark. I just about cried when I got on the scales today. I just thanked Heavenly Father for the blessing. I was asked did I feel differently by 2 different people today. Both have never seen the heavy side of anything. I do feel different - I can cross my legs, I can fit in the tub better, sex with my husband is better/easier, my eyes aren't packed with fat into my face, and for the first time in my life... I don't feel like people are pointing and talking about how fat I am. Do I feel differently??? yes, I feel like I am being treated differently - more like a human and less like a fungus. My goals this week..... 1. Keep God first so I can keep on track 2. Drink lots of water and take my vitamins 3. Do something nice for my friend Paula. Wish... I want to go to nursing school and graduate with honors. Then I want to work in oncology. I am so gratful that each and everyone of you (including the lurkers) are here for me so that I can be successful at this weight loss thing. Thank you for being who you are. Hugs from Heaven Melinda BPD/DS 252/198/135

Alright, Melinda, hate to break it to ya, but you said you were going to work on 2 goals, you posted three, but you really condensed four into three sentences. That's okay, we'll still let you work on all of them. Too funny that you posted oz lost. I'll have to figure that someday. (NOT now, I have a tremendous headache and need to hit the hay). What a blessing to be under the 200 mark. I still hope to get there soon! I love your wish - know that you can do it if that's truly what you want to do. I have faith in you.... Have a great week, God bless, Andrea

Oooh, I like the ounces idea too! When I went to Weigh****chers, we got silly one week and started counting our losses in "sticks of butter"! Since there are 4 sticks of butter in a pound, it really made it sound like an accomplishment. It's also a good visual reminder of all that fat--GONE! My goals for this week are pretty much the same...I'm still in the process of getting all my medical records transferred over. I have most of the fax numbers now but just need to fill out the forms and fax them all. Want to hear something funny? Why is it that most doctor offices will send your records to another doctor for free, but will charge you mega-bucks to send them to you? However, I did call one of my old doctors and they said they HAVE to send them to you because of the new privacy laws. I was hoping to have them all sent to me so I could highlight some things before asking my PCP to write a letter for me. (Both doctors were in Illinois, by the way, so I don't think it's a state thing...I just think they like to make up their own rules! ha ha...) Oh well...learn somethin' new every day, don't we? -Chris C.

Chris, EWWWWWWWWWWWw weighing butter. That would be a lot of fat. Let's see, 4 sticks per pound, about 125 pounds, equals 500 sticks of butter!! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWw again!!! I can't believe that you would be charged to get your own records. It's rather ridiculous. Hope that things get moving fast for you. Once I got paperwork filled out and turned in, it was like a whirlwind! Got all that turned in in October and had surgery 12/8/03. It was fast. Well, hang in there and have a good week. God bless, Andrea
