Fatigue Update

My surgeon's office called me back today. She said I need 2500mgm of B12 a week. I'm getting 1500. Could be the problem. I'll increase it and start on iron. They didn't think I probably needed the iron since I no longer have the "curse" but I have to try something. She also said it's pretty common to have fatigue at this point in time - almost 4 months. So I'm suppose to give it a week or so and then check in with them. Thanks for all your concern and suggestions! Lyn 262/196/142

Lyn, Do they have you on sublingual B12's, or shots? I take the sublinguals from Wal_M art daily and my numbers have been fine. Keep us updated at how you feel. God bless, Andrea

I take the Rexall brand from Wal-Mart, sub-lingual. Now I have to try to find the right kind of iron - Ferrous Fumminate (sp). I checked at Walgreens and all they had was a timed release and I don't think I'm suppose to have timed release.

Lyn, That's the same kind of sub-lingual B12 that I take. The iron, I think they had me on ferrous gluconate, but when I ran out of that, I bought Wal-Mart ferrous sulfate. I hope it works - constipates the bejeebers out of me, (along with all of the cheese that I eat). The info that I got from our center says to take "Fergon (bayer product), Niferex or Nu-Iron. I guess that I need to check to make sure that what I am taking I truly am absorbing. Hope this helps. God bless, Andrea
