Update on the surgery journey. Go to hosp Friday Sept 3rd for: EKG, chest Xray, lab work and abdominal ultrasound. Also have to do an over night pulse oximetery. Will bring home the gadget to do that on Friday. Return that Tuesday or so. They down-load the info then send it to the pulmonologist to rule out any sort of sleep apnea. Hopefully I pass that test, otherwise there will be a sleep study to do, and they said getting scheduled for that is what takes time at this stage...... Said only takes a few days to get ALL the results back. If all goes well, probably looking at the middle to late October for a date. She said they are already booked through the 1st week of October. Also rec a letter from the hospital saying my portion of the deductible that I have to pay up front is about 1/2 of what I expected it to be. YEAH! So......the road is getting shorter..... And I have done so well keeping the little voices out of my head.....that "what if" guy can sure do a number on you......... Hugs to all Sheila

Hi Sheila, I also had the overnight machine, nothing to it BUT it's a pain trying to sleep kept getting in my way then I was afraid I would unplug it or something. Your road is getting shorter & soon you will be on the losing side Keep us posted. Carolyn
