I just talked to Chris...she is in some pain, but VERY glad to have the surgery done and to be on the losing (but winning!) side! They ended up taking out her gall bladder as well. She sounded very tired, but already said it's SO worth it. I told her she must be on some really good drugs to be saying that already! Continue to keep her in your prayers for no complications and a speedy recovery!

Thanks for letting us know, Chris. If you are willing to post her last name, any of us can send her an e-mail at the hospital. If you post it I'll look up the URL for the place to do it. They do a wonderful job of delivering them & it's fun to know that people are thinking of you. Dixie

Hi Dixie--what a great idea! I didn't know hospitals even did that. You know, I didn't think to ask her if it was OK to post her last name for cards or anything. Not that any of you would do anything, but sometimes there are trolls that try to scam names off of boards. So how 'bout if anyone wants to email her at the hospital, just email me personally and I'll send you back her full name. Chances are she wouldn't care anyway, but since I didn't ask first, I probably shouldn't. My email is [email protected] Cool beans? Chris C.

For anyone who wants to send Chris an e-mail at the hospital, go to http://www.covhealth.com/ and click on the envelope on the right side toward the bottom. You may need to temporarily turn off your virus protection if you have Norton. It will ask what hospital she is at. She is a patient at Sartori. You do need both first & last name so be sure to e-mail Chris C. first for that information. By the way, just above the envelpe is a box that will link you to the Minimally Invasive Surgical Weightloss Center (otherwise known as Dr Glas****) Dixie

Chris, Glad to hear that Chris is out of surgery and has joined us on this journey. The morphine is definately good those first couple of days!! Some people just come out of everything a lot faster than others. Please give her our congrats and let her know prayers are with her. God bless, Andrea
