Update on Chris F.

Hi Everyone! I talked to Chris today (she has a nice name, don't you think?), and her surgery has been moved up from noon tomorrow to 8AM. She's quite excited to get it over with a few hours earlier! They are going to head up to Cedar Falls tonight since she has to be there at 5 AM. I'm going to serve as a makeshift Angel here...I told Chris I would call her tomorrow night and then post here to let you all know how she's doing. Please keep Chris and her family in your thoughts and prayers...after two weeks of clear liquids, she deserves to be on her way to some yummy pureed chicken as soon as possible! (ugh...even MY stomach did a flip over that!) Hugs, Chris C.

She'll have to wait at least 2 weeks for the chicken! Two more weeks of the liquids are the norm for Dr G's patients. I be thinking of her tomorrow. Dixie
