Hey Jesi!! I am so glad you replied!! Hey, Packer country isn't too awful far away. We just have to get our schedules straight so we can have a huge lunch of protein shakes and veggies!! You are not going to believe this but, Labor Day weekend IS my weekend to work. I was supposed to go camping again with my wife and kids and will miss that too. Here is the deal though...I am off every other weekend. I was off this past weekend (tonight, Sat. and Fri.) and will work next weekend (Labor Day weekend). Then it is the next weekend off and then on. It will only change if I change crews or get bumped to another crew. Eventually, we will cross paths. I just hope we can do it soon. Your posts and replies always make me smile and I think you are a great person!! You take care now and have a great week...K-man By the way...thanks for the plug with the other IOWA GALS...You guys are the best!!

Hey Laurie!! I went to my first game last Dec. and let me tell you there is nothing quite like it. We were playing the "dreaded" Bears and whipped the snot out of them. It wasn't even freezing cold and my wife and kids and I all had a GREAT time!! I am hoping to get to another game this year too. I hope you get to one soon. You won't regret it... Hi Ken! Bears all the way!!!!! LOL.....I'm originally from the Chicago area, spent the last two years in Cowboy Country (Yeah, as in Dallas....don't remind me!) and now we just moved to Iowa City last month. So now I have to remember to cheer for the Hawkeyes too. One thing about those Bears though....nothing's been the same since Ditka left. But I LOVE Wisconsin--spent many summers there as a kid--so I do have a soft spot for Packer fans. Nice to meet you!!! I'm praying for Shelley today! -Chris C.

Ken, Thanks so much for doing this. Will you call to check on her and then post how she is doing for us? (The number for the hospital is 563-421-1000.) (I live very near Shelley and had surgery through the same center - even met her at the last support group meeting.) By the way, just was reading your profile and it IS really awesome that you are an angel to Shelley and Debby. Supporting someone through this process is a wonderful calling! Hi Andrea. I got an e-mail from her Friday that asked me to wait to call her if I am going to on Tuesday instead of Monday. I'm sure she will be feeling a little better on Tuesday and would rather talk then. Expect to see something on the board then that is if I get through to her. If I don't, I will keep trying. I have to work Tuesday night so I am really hoping to be able to talk to her. Do you know the name of the hospital she will be in?? I think it is probably on her profile, but I forgot to look. That was no mistake on my profile. I have another friend named Shelly that had surgery on the 20th of August and she is doing great. I was her Angel too and just loved the experience. Helping people is addicting. You are right...the support we get from each other is FANTASTIC!! I couldn't have asked for better!! Take care now and be good...K-Man
