Hey, Guys, my friend Joan V. (from Des Moines) she got her surgery date today. She will be joing the losing side as of September 20. If you get a chance, please send her a note of encouragement. She is now getting scared. She says in her profile that she does not have an Angel yet. Neither do I. What is it? Thanks, Michelle

Michelle, Sorry that I did not respond sooner. I will try to post something to your friend's surgery support page. I have been an angel before and what I do is check on the person after surgery - usually a phone call to the hospital or from a family member, a brief hospital visit if the person is up to it and then contact through phone or e-mail. I guess being an angel is what you can do for the person in terms of support. I think that it is best to try to find someone from your area that can support you and visit if needed. If you or your friend want an angel, create a new post to ask for an angel. I'd say that there are a lot of supportive people here that will be willing to help out. Good luck and God bless, Andrea
