Update on fair

Hello everybody Boy, what a day! I had a great time, had not been there for at least 5 years. And this is the VERY first time I walked all over, and got myself and my cousin's 15 year old lost. This was my cousin's son's first time at any fair. He's from Trinidad, Tobago. He had a great time! The best of it he said was see the Butter Cow and all that. And, Andrea, I was bad. I didn't drink much fluid. Never was thirsty, but I know better to drink. Had one Corn Dog, which didn't digest (also have Irritable Bowel so everything runs right out), and that's all I had besides a pepsi at the fair. I only went on one ride, and that was the Bumper cars. I was thinking about going on Big Ben, but I chickened out at the last minute. Too HIGH! I guess that's it. Take Care Lisa Young

Lisa, I'm so glad that you enjoyed yourself! Can't believe that you got yourself lost, though LOL. I have to ask about the Pepsi and the corn dog. Those don't sound like great choices. Have you done any reading about drinking pop after surgery? My dietician says it's an absolute "no no". I know that others think that it is okay, but I don't dare even try it. You may want to research or ask your surgeon about it. Was it diet? I would have been dumping on the sugars! Let me know what you find out about your surgeon's recommendations, please.
