Hi Mr. and Mrs. Lester, Congrats, Lester on being at goal!!! What a wonderful accomplishment!!! You continue to be an inspiration for us all. I probably asked before, but do you exercise? If so, will you continue to do so as often to maintain? What will you change now to stay at the same weight and not lose anymore? Hopefully, someday, I will reach goal and have to worry about those things. Carol, great job on the 85 pounds. How much more weight do you want to lose? I envy you both renewing your vows. My hubby and I have been together for 17 years and married for 10 this October. I wanted to have my wedding dress altered and renew our vows also, but it probably won't happen. My Mom's friend, Sandy (who was my second grade teacher, taught both of my sisters and my niece and nephew,) and I designed my dress because I was too big to buy one. She cannot alter it, however, because she does not have time. Darn!! May still renew vows another time. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BOTH OF YOU!!! May you enjoy your new found health together for a long, long, time! God bless, Andrea

Thanks for the replies from everybody. 1. do you exercise? If so, will you continue to do so as often to maintain? Yes, We both exercise - we do a couple laps around town which is about 3 miles on our bicycles, try for everyday but don't always. No, I/we don't plan to change anything at this point especially since Carol is still losing. Might throw in some type of weight training also but I have to be careful due to arthiritis in shoulder with a torn rotator cuff. 2. What will you change now to stay at the same weight and not lose anymore? I will be making an appointment to go talk to surgeon about that very thing - he has said there are ways to work around the surgery to stop the weight loss but not to regain it. 3. Carol, great job on the 85 pounds. How much more weight do you want to lose? I am aiming for around 150 so that is about 95 more pounds - yicks! I had a revision surgery done 5 months ago tomorrow. I will see my surgeon on Tuesday - have to go more often than most patients because there was a 'rather large hernia' that was repaired. Also the loss is slower for me because of it being the second time around but I am totally ecstatic with the loss so far. 4. renewing your vows - Our first 'wedding' was very very small although in a church, had about 10 guests whi*****luded our 3 children. This time I am having a wedding dress-been working my tush off trying to get it done plus the 4 bridesmaid dresses. Already got vest made for the guys. Been burning up the old sewing machine for the last couple of monthes. My first dress was just a fancy dress which I still have (of course). Gotta a lot to get done this week. I think I could have picked an easier dress-like a ready made ha, ha. If anybody would like to attend it is at 4:00 pm on the 21st at the Martelle United Methodist Church in Martelle, Ia. Again, thanks for the replies from everybody. Lester & Carol

Wow,thanks for the response. Carol, 85 pounds in 5 months - that is wonderful, not slow at all. Don't compare your loss to Lester's losses. By what I read, men tend to lose faster than us women. Go figure!! Doesn't seem fair, I know. Good luck on the wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, etc. Sounds like you are doing it big this time around. How wonderful!! Sure with that I could attend, but don't even know where Martelle is. Also, I have another committment (another wedding actually) that day. Have a wonderfully, blessed re-wedding!! God bless, Andrea
