Survived my Tummy Tuck...Life is great!

I had my TT 7/30 today is day 11, Dr. Yen took my drains out yesterday...which hurt like He**...anyway my front butt is GONE! I bought a night gown...a med. put it on last night and it hung straight and flat it is amazing! I just cried! I am still sore but life is good! Yup I have my belly button, he said they cut around it, pulled theskin from the top down poke a hole in it and pull the belly button through! Heather

OMG.. im crying FOR YOU...and for me.. because i want one soo bad ALREADY and im still 12 lbs from goal. My front butt sucks..and all this skin..i feel just as unattractive undressed now as i was when i was fat. As long as im clothed im ok... All this skin...ugh. QUESTION: How much weight did you lose in skin? Did you have just the front... or does the incision go all the way around and did they do liposuction with it and a lower body lift? ~~Dawn

I have no idea how much I lost in skin, he didn't weigh it he gave me a gross picture of it after it was removed though. I just had the front done, and will have lipo on my hips later. Honestly I am happy with my TT and he tightened my abs, which feels weird but good at the same time. I am finally happy with me, I was given a goal weight of around 135lbs. but my skin rashes were really bad, so I started the TT process at 158 and as of this morning I weighed 142. Heather

Congratulations Heather. I am wondering about how the TT goes after surgery. I have heard you should wait 2 years?? Did your insurance cover it? Just noisey. I haven't even had surgery yet, not till Mon. 7:30am. It is so nice to read all these posts and all the sucess stories. I am so looking forward to the loosing side. Cheryl
