Tummy Tuck scheduled
I received approval from the insurance company that I have been approved for my abdominoplasty. I scheduled the surgery this morning for August 30th. My surgeon is Dr. Cherny with Heartland Plastic Surgery. I have been at goal for a month now, weighing in at 133 lbs. and will be so glad to have a flat tummy!
Krista:
Congrats on your approval!! Who do you have insurance with? Was it hard getting approval for your TT? Any suggestions on how to go about getting approval? I have another 50-60 lbs to go, but am thinking I will need some major tummy work!! What a great thing to cap off your loss!! Best of luck!! DeeAnn
Deann-
I have BCBS Alliance Select PPO. I didn't have to really do anything to get approved. My surgeon sent in the authorization form and it took 15 days for approval. He didn't even have to send pictures. He also requested approval for the arms, but that was denied.
I am lucky because I only have to have a partial tummy tuck, meaning they don't have to do any muscle repair. So all of those crunches I did paid off!!!
Good luck with your weight loss.
Hi Krista,
Congratulations, oh a flat tummy will be a wonderful thing to behold. Are getting an anchor cut or a bikini cut? I am sooo happy for you. You look incredible in your picture... Good Luck and you'll be in my prayers.
I have been trying to approval for my plastics since the beginning of the year. I have been at or below goal for 20 months. I revised my goal of 150 to 130...(with consultations from my gynocologist, and internist... who knew I was actually small boned?!). My PS put in for scar revision, full abdominoplasty, and a breast lift.
Again.... I AM SOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU AND CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR ABOUT THE RESULTS!
God Bless
Paula
