OMG

Hello all, I just needed to shout out! I went and bought a new pair of shorts today. They were cute and on sale (they are the zip up kind not the strechy elastic kind), and I thought maybe by the time school starts they will fit (they are a size 16). When I got home I tried them on-- they fit NOW! How cool is that! I have not been in a 16 since 1984. Then to celabrate I went for a walk, that really shows how much I have changed mentally. I was so excited that walking was the only thing I could do. I am down 58 pounds as of today! That means I am Over half way to my goal. Was 242, now 184. Man life is really good. TTFN Jackie

Way to go Jackie Isn't it wonderful? I found a pair of shorts size 18 & they should fit within a week or 2 or that's my hopes! Also a pair of capri's. Couldn't pass up the $1 bin!!! Down to a 20 now. Now the weather is calling for jeans! Wouldn't you just know it?! I've been kind of showing off a bit to, ppl are really beginning to see the weight loss & feel so proud of myself. Jackie ~~ that's great! Doesn't it feel wonderful?? Have you been "Goodwill" shopping? I went a couple of weeks ago and got jeans (all Lee's and Wrangler's) in 16's and 14's both. The 16's are snug, but my 18's are getting way loose. Two of the pairs had never been worn!! They're 3.50 a pr and for no longer than we can wear them it's a great deal. Isn't it great? All of us have done so well! I wish I was half way to my goal. But I'm closer than I was. A friend at work is loaning me a bunch of 18s. Most fit right now. But I really need to go get some jeans. I found 2 pairs with the tags still on them. I'm gonna try to take them back and get a couple sizes smaller. The tags were still on them because they were too tight when I bought them and now they are too big! Blew right by them. Lyn

Yeah, Jackie!! I'm so proud of you!!! Half way to goal - wow!! Can't imagine a size 16, although I have purchased a skort that is 18 and fits. You are doing an awesome job!!! Keep up the good work! God bless, Andrea

Congrats It feels so goooood to wear smaller clothing! I am in a 16 also it feels great!
