Question

Hello all, Is it OK to drink Minute Maid Light Raspberry Passion after surgery? There's only 5 calories, and 1g of carb in a 16.9 fl oz bottle. Just wondering if anyone's using this, and if it makes them sick. Thanks! Shelley Rath

I don't like raspberry so I haven't tried it but it should be okay. Is it sweetened with Nutrasweet? Remember that Nutrasweet can make some people crave carbs. I know it does me so I'm pretty careful not to make a habit of drinking lots of Crystal Lite.

I drink it to get in my liquids ocassionally. I prefer the Lemonade though. You might find that either of them are too sweet for your taste. Dixie

I drink it all the time.......get the 12packs....a lot cheaper than the bottles!!! I was a pop junkie so I love them....they are sweet but that is what I like......They also have lemonade, and a passion fruit one! My hyvee and walmart carry the twelve packs....YUMMY....plus there is no deposit on the cans because they are juice!!! At first only hyvee carried the 12 packs so I asked walmart to order them and they did.....just ask! Jesi

Shelley, I second Jesi's response. I don't drink them all of the time, but I like to have a can maybe once a day. They are also nice to be able to pack in the cooler on camping trips, picnics, etc. It makes me feel like I am drinking a pop like everyone else and makes me feel less "different". Hope this helps. I love the Minute Maid Light Mango Tropical ~~ drinking one right now!! I also get the 12 pk cans at Fareway. I also make regular kool-aid and use Splenda instead of sugar as a sweetener. I usually water it down a little tho or it tastes really strong. Janie 272/191/140?
