Perception

A friend at work is loaning me a whole bunch of small clothes. She grew and since I've shrunk, we swapped wardrobes. I'm trying things on and as I put my arms into a top, I'm thinking that there is no way this is going to fit. But it did! Amazing! I've gone from a 3X to an 18. I saw my rheumatologist last week to tell him I've increase the dosage of one of my meds since it wasn't working. He asked what my goal was and I told him 134. He looked at me and said that was too low. So I'll be talking to my surgeon about that when I go in for my 3 month post-op visit in a week and a half. 134 might be about 10 pounds too low based on how I'm looking now. We'll see. I haven't been on much this week because we were setting up a new computer. So good job to everyone who has done well this week, especially Carolyn now not MO. Lyn

Lyn Just curious .... what weight were you when you started? When did you have your surgery? What weight are you right now? Thanks Melinda

My weight before surgery was 262. I had surgery 5/11/04 and am currently at 205.

Thanks Lyn Isn't this a great feeling? Think I was a kid the last time I got hand me downs!!! Jodi lent me some clothes & most of them are getting to big on me now!! never thought that would ever happen! Your new pic looks great, need to get mine posted to.
