Verrrry Good Moment!!

I had to go renew my driver's license last week, the lady behind the desk says as she is going through the questions, "this weight can't be right" caught me completely unaware. Of course I laughed and said "no it's changed a little bit" Just made my day!!!! I'm down a total of 135# right now, on another plateau at the moment, I was never given a goal weight but I would love to lose another 40#. I just had to share the moment with you all it was so unexpected!!

What a great thing when you can truly weigh what your drivers liscense says you weigh and not fudge a little. Congrats Melinda

Congrats for you, Sue!!! Wonderful work! I just looked at your profile for your starting weight and didn't see it. Can you really lose another 40 pounds? It doesn't look like it in your picture, you skinny, minny! Don't you just love those driver licenses? I had to show mine at Wal-mart the other day and the lady said "Wow - you've lost a lot of weight!" It made my day!! Thanks for sharing and God bless, Andrea

Yes it is nice to not feel like I have to lie about my weight, and actually be kinda proud of what I weigh (did I just say that?? ) It did make my day. Thanks for the skinny minny!!!! I started at 325# had the surgery on 9/16/03. I can actually fit into a large top!!!! I kept looking at it and thinking -no way- but it fits, barely!!!~ lol It's so wonderful, I had to go to an appt and this guy started talking to me, and about two hours later, I realized there was a slight chance he was flirting with me. (aways was slow on the uptake) I notice the difference people treat me, but I still have to walk with a cane and it amazes me how people will hurry around you to get to the counter or whatever first. Thanks for all the positive input I sure appreciate it.
