My day at work....

My assignment today was to assist in my surgeon's room. Before I had decided for sure to have surgery I would assist the doctor, look at the patients and wonder what it would be like to have surgery. Then I made my decision to have surgery and I looked at the WLS patients and thought soon it will be me on that table. Now that I am post op I look at the patients totally different .... I quietly and mentally told my patients that soon they would feel better, healthier, would loose weight, and gain self esteem. It was a good day and I helped my patients have a better life. I am so grateful God showed me that my career should be in health care. Thanks guys for listening..... Have a great day!!! Melinda

Melinda: That is so neat! Sometimes we don't even know why we do things or why things happen to us until much later. It would be nice to know that the people operating on me were having such great thoughts about my surgery when I had it. I'll bet your great at what you do. Eileen

Melinda, What a neat post! Thanks for sharing something that touching with us. I am sure if those patients knew everything that you were doing for them, they would be forever grateful! Isn't it wonderful to have a career that you know you have been chosen for and which you love? I teach children with special needs and absolutely love it! Thanks for sharing! God bless, Andrea
