Welcome home, Kelly! Glad to hear that things went well for you. Nice that you have your man home to take care of you. Be sure to take advantage of it and at the same time, let him know how much you appreciate him. Don't forget, you need lots of rest still. Sleep, get in lots of fluids and try for your proteins. What type of diet does your doc have you on now? I was on liquids for the first week then full liquids then soft foods. Take it easy now. God bless and welcome to this side of the journey, Andrea

Actually for the first 10 days I'm on water, broth, and sugar free jello. Then for the next week I can have all those plus cottage cheese, refried beans, and eggs any style. Then for the next few weeks I can add sliced turkey or chicken (soft), and a few other things. Then it's on to other stuff! Woohooo! But I can't have red meat until month 5. Nothing says I can't put it in my mouth and roll it around a bit though. (okay yeah...sounds gross, but taste is everything right!???) Mark loves doing steak on the grill and I can't deny him that. I need to learn how to cook chicken, turkey, and fish (boy are we going to be healty!!! Kelly B.

Kelly, Welcome Home...... Take it easy and get tons of rest. You will wear out quickly. Especially when you try to shower, wash your hair, and then get ready. Drink as much as you can. The reason your man is cleaning now is because he knows he has a hottie come at him. If no one has told you... it is an emotional rollercoaster but we're here if you need us. Melinda
