7/20 goals and roll call (LATE)
OOPS
I guess that my mind is still on the weekend and not focused. Anyway, what are your goals for this week? I did okay last wee****il Friday when I lost all control! Yesterday was horrible as well, I think because I was tired. I know that I will have to struggle with this food thing forever, but shouldn't it get easier????? Man, I feel like a loser right now - really guilty for my eating the past couple of days. I am afraid that I will totally screw this up and make myself get fatter again - and don't want to do that!!! So, goals for the week are simple...............
1) GET CONTROL AND KEEP CONTROL - ALL DAY, EVERY DAY, 24/7!!!!!
Hope I'm not setting myself up for failure, but I think that I need to aim high this week.
Thanks for all of your support everyone. Now, let's hear how you have been doing and what your goals are so we can support you, too.
God bless,
Andrea
WOW, I envy all you ladies that got together sounds like a blast.
Goals well just to maintain my sanity for the next month.
WALK - I have had a very hard time getting that in.
Drink water - Can't stand water, I drink crystal light mainly.
Try to ignore the hunger pangs - Ever since I got back from vacation I have been HUNGRY!!!!!, I am actually able to eat three meals a day and I am scared that I have stretched my pouch. Usually 2 meals would satisfy.
Be more patient with my family - Very irritable lately?????
Lose 5 pounds this week!!!!!!! fingers crossed that it happens.
Hi Leslea,
Sorry that you weren't there this weekend - we did enjoy meeting one another. What's going on this next month that may make you lose your sanity? Hope that you can get in tha****er and walking. Also, by what I read and hear, it is normal to start having hunger pangs again. I still don't, or at least I don't think that I do and I am 7 1/2 months out. To help tolerate the water, have you tried adding a little lemon? I like a lot of lemon and some sweetener. I also sometimes add some extract for flavor - orange and cherry are favorites.
Could that irritability be hormone related? I know that my poor family suffers at least one week a month!
Hang in there and good luck on goals.
God bless,
Andrea
Hi All
Have spiritual and mental goals as well as the usual...
No one will ever guess that my room still is defining the word messy...
I am making progress but it's SLOW so much stuff and sooo little space.
Anyway I am going to try to wean myself off the Diet Mountain Dew, one is too many and 100 is NOT enough
More exercise and WATER
more protein less carbs
and the most important thing give my problems over to GOD.
God Bless

Hey Andrea,
Thanks so much for your kind words. You are everyone's best cheerleader.
Don't get down on yourself about lapses. Just pick yourself up and get back on track. When your in a positive place then analyze the situation and see if there is a trigger. I know when I make a food or life error for that matter, the main thing is just say it's over and start making good choices. If I analyze things from that negative place I start to feel even more down/upset... just wait a little while and approach it from the positive.
Great idea about the food diary; it's a sure way to track and see if there are cycles or triggers that are happening in your eating. Also do a check for emotional triggers. If you are anything like me I have a couple issues and people that set me off to the races food wise. I avoid them when possible and when I can't then I have healthy snacks with me in my purse. Also, if you'd like you can join our phone a friend list Clinton... it's just some numbers to call, you know pick the phone instead of food. (something our group came up with last month, there's 5 of us, and if long distance is an issue I have a couple tricks)
let me know... thanks for all your help on the other issue, I am truely blessed to have you praying for me.
God Bless and
TTFN

I think I made my goals last week. I execised every day last week. And for all the sweating, I lost a whopping pound and a half!
I know, I know, at least it was a loss. But the prior 2 weeks I had lost 4.5 and 4. As long as I'm doing what I'm suppose to, and I am, it will come off. I just want those 2.5 pounds gone NOW so I can be at 50! For me, that's a big milestone. I have a 50 pound reward waiting at the jewelry store! I love jewelry, much to my hubby's dismay.
Goals for this week:
Exercise 6 times
Try my friend's Pilates DVD
Continue to increase water (80 oz and counting)
Be patient.
