Surgery date is July 15th!!

I finally have my surgery date, this thursday the 15th. I have waited so long and jumped through all of the hoops and now it is happening sooo fast. I am excited and a little nervous. I just hope it all goes well and that it helps me gain my goals. I am having laproscopic RNY surgery with Dr. Flo Que in Rochesters Mayo Clinic. Wish me Luck !!

Leo I will be saying a small prayer for you, and hope all goes well. Hold your chin up, soon the surgery will be over, and you will be joining others on the loosing side. I am waiting for my appointment to be set as well. Yes, I am nervous, but know its for the best. Good luck, and know that the man upstairs will be watching over you at all times. Wow, Leo, First of all, let me say welcome to you. You have come to the right place for support. This week will just fly by for you. You have a right to be nervous - we all were. When did you start your journey with research, appointments and insurance filing? Did you just get your date? Do you have an angel yet? If not, do you want one, because we certainly can post to get one for you. Since surgery is not in Iowa, angel would probably place a phone call to check on your health and then let the rest of us know how you are doing. After surgery, your angel can be great support (*along with the rest of us on the site) for you. Let us know what we can do for you to help you through your journey. Prayers going out for you. Welcome to the board and congrats on the surgery date! My son and mom live up in that neck of the woods, in Arnolds Park. My hubby goes to Mayo for his heart and the place is just wonderful. I'm sure they will take excellent care of you. You will reach your goals. They are in sight right now! Just do exactly what your doc tells you to do and you will lose your wt.
