Get this Gals!!!!
The family and I got back from vacation and I have to tell you what all I did. We went to the Grand Harbor Hotel and I played in the water park with my kids. Me, this former fat women who hasn't worn a swim suit since I was a teenager. Then we went to a ski park and I rode a tobogan sled down the slop and the air lift back up the hill. (I am afraid of heights.) Then we went to Adventureland and I rode the rides like I was a kid again. Even one of the roller coasters. I fit in all the seats. WOW!! My nine year old son kept encouraging me to do everything. It was a wonderful vacation. One I thought I would never be able to have. God is GOOD! isn't he???? Thanks for letting me spout for a while. You all have a nice week.
DeAnne
DeAnne,
Wow, that's awesome!!! Those are some of my goals as well. One of the deciding factors for me to having this surgery (sorry if you have already heard this) was last summer when my 7 year old daughter rode her very first big roller coaster with daddy because mommy was too big to fit on the ride. I plan on going on all the rides this year, not just the water rides! Tell your 9 year old that he did a great job gettin' momma to try new things.
Yep - GOD IS GOOD!!!!!
Spout any time with such joyous news.
God bless,
Andrea
P.S. How was the roller coaster?
Hi DeAnne:
How much fun can one person have!! It sounds like you had
a blast. I had a similar experience this weekend I went to
Wacky Waters on Sunday afternoon. Last year, you wouldn't
have caught me dead in a water park. It was a blast too.
I agree, God is soooooo good!
Here's to having fun,
Eileen
Way to go DeAnne, sounds like you had an awesome vacation. Bet you feel like a whole new person, and to beable to do things like that with your kids', yes that would be a blessing. Congradulations on your success in loosing weight, and feeling good. And yes DeAnne, their is a God!! Keep smiling, and, stay safe. ~ Pam
