HAPPY REBIRTHDAY TO ME!

My anniversary is today! Last year, on this day I was starting this wonderful journey. A journey, to be truthful, i really didn't think was going to work for me. Now, 118 lbs later...i see that it is truly a miracle. God has given our surgeons the gift of being able to modifiy our bodies with this glorious tool that helps us to be "normal" like everyone else. I weight less now that I did at 12 yrs old! For the first time in my life i feel like a normal person with normal hungers and normal worries and a normal body. I dont want to be "skinny"... i just love being average . To those of you who are starting your journies now...let me just say..hold on..it's one hell of a ride..and it ends wonderfully. Happy REBirthday to meee 186 lbs. (118 lbs gone forever)

Happy Re-Birthday to you! It's a great life, isn't it! I've got 3 months to go till mine and I just hope I can get a few more pounds gone before then. The other day, my neighbor called me 'skinny-minnie' and I assumed she was talking about my daughter!! It's going to take a while for me to think of myself as normal - but what an awesome concept!!!!!
