Consult Date Set!

Now that I'm approved for disability the race is on! I am on medicaid for July and then a program similiar to medicaid with a (spend down) or premium type set up after that. I have set up my initial consultation with Dr. Shinneral in Cherekee next Monday - Hot Damn! Then I hope to get most of my post op stuff taken care of there after. I hope to be on the losing side starting in August or Sept! Just had to tell ya the news! I will keep you updated! - Carol

Way to go Carol, sounds like your on a roll. I have had all my tests, and am waiting for the results. Will see Dr. Shinnerals phsy. as soon as they get the appointment set, and in the same day I will have one more visit with doctor Shinneral, and I should beable to schedule my surgery then as well. That's really great! I hope things move quickly for you. I see Dr. McBride in Omaha and they said that Iowa Medicaid takes awhile sometimes. Not to bring you down or anything I just hate it when I get psyched up for something and it doesn't happen like I wanted it to. I have gone to my intial consult.
