I'm prego!!!

Wow..I don't even know what to say...whoops...I have been on the pill since I gave birth to my twins 2 years ago. We tried to get pregnant for 3 years, and I went on clomid to have these kiddies. We are very shocked and I'm only 7 weeks. I am 10 months post op and have lost 145lbs now. I feel great but now I really have to watch what I eat. I've started more vitamins and upped my protein...what is my doctor going to say ????OMG I'm having so many mixed emotions, we planned on having another child, but when the twins started school. Oh, Deb, WOW! What a shocker! Congrats - a new life is always a blessing from God. His plans must be different than yours. I'm sure that your surgeon as well as your ob/gyn is going to want to follow your progress closely. Have faith, dear. This IS a blessed event and meant to be. You are going to have to continue to be careful with your eating and vitamins. Have you posted to the main boards for support/ideas? You may want to find others who have had babies post operatively. (I've been wondering where you were, haven't heard from you in a long time and have sent several e-mails. Was beginning to wonder if the visit to my house was just horrible for you??!!) Deb....Wow. That's SOME news! Congratulations! You are Jason are strong -- look at what you've done in the past year together! You'll get thru this "surprise" too. Congrats to you & Jason. As a mommy of twins (now almost 28) can understand your emotions you are going thru. But look on the bright side, the twins were 14 (I was 37!) when I found out I was prego with Katie!!!! Congrats on your weight loss, that is awesome. Congrats....YOu will do fine.......Everything happens for a reason! Turn that sad face to a smiley facey Our twins were 26 months when we had our third...you will be fine!!!! I had three babies in about two years! Now that was CRAZY.....and I turned out okay....I THINK!!!! LOL!!! Just make sure you pick a great OB....someone who specializes in highrisk and take good care of yourself! Go to the library here...there has been tons of people who have gotten pregnant and have had healthy wonderful pregnancys....Best of luck....Take Care jesi

Congratulations, Deb & Jason. I wondered if that was the news you referred to. I bet Barb & Darrell are excited too. Not fair, Barb is getting all these grandchildren & I sit & "patiently" wait. You'll do fine, I'm sure. This pregnancy will probably be so easy campared to the last one since it's only one (?) & you weigh so much less. Dixie

Deb & Paul, Congrats!!!! We, too, have been through the clomid and infertility testing, but without luck. I pray that after surgery and I lose some of this weight, that we may actually have a child of our own. But if not, adoption is always an option. Again, congratulations!!!
